Group Work with 5 Years Old Age Children

Hi friends…
Today I did group work with 3 children. Names of the group members were Chesta, Soni and Charu. These 3 girls were living in the Sonia Vihar, an urban slum of Delhi.
The average age of the children was 5 years. These three girls were good friends. They played together and also participated in the cultural programs.
Chesta, Soni and Charu, all of these girls have common interest. They love to watch cartoons, drawings and eating lots of chocolates, chips and other snacks.
I planned to do educational activities with these clients. They were good in basic. I asked to Chesta for reciting the poems and alphabets. She was shying initially but she got the confidence after some time and she started reciting the poems. Then Charu and Soni also joined her. They all recited some popular poems like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Ba Ba Black Sheep and some poems in Hindi.
I also asked about their favorite cartoon characters. They love to watch Doremon, Ninja Hattori, Motu-Patlu etc. The children were taking good interest. The session was nice.
