Group Work Practice in Social Work Field Work Training

Group Work is an important activity in the field work training. The main objective of group work is enhance the qualities of the group members by providing them motivation, inspiration, suggestion and guidance.

A good group is responsible to form a better community. If group performs well, it will impact the community also.

Group work starts from selecting the group members. So choose the members who have interest in the group work activities. It will be good if the members belong to the same community, religion and having same thoughts.

Do not force the people to join the group. Do interesting activities in the group and try to give equal chance to perform to all group members.
