If you wanted to be a licensed psychologist, then I will suggest you to do this course from any regular university. After, MA Psychology, you have to go for M.Phil Clinical Psychology. This will make you eligible for registration in Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for getting a license in the field of Clinical Psychology.

Similarly if you have interest in counselling psychology, then go for the Advance Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling. With this course, you may work as school counselor, vocational counselor etc. The eligibility for this course is MSW or MA Psychology.

Community Organization / Development Report Writing Sample for IGNOU MSW/BSW Field Work Journal

In the IGNOU MSW/BSW field work, you have to do around 14 sessions of community visits.

Community Organization is one of the primary techniques in the social work. During the field work training, you have to do the Community Organization activities in any community. You can select any colony, slum area, village or block for doing this activity.

In the Community Organization/development activity, you have to do activities with the people living in that community.

First of all, you have to collect information about the community like its total population, education status of the people, financial status of the people. All of these information, you can collect using face to face interview. However you have to take care while conducting the interview. Better, you should go with NGO employees.

Be sure that the interview questions are easy to answer and you are not asking any objectionable question. Overall, the main aim is to collect basic information about the community and people living in the community.

In the next activities, you can collect information on the basic problems in the community. You can collect facts about the impact of those problems on the community.

After that you can form small groups where you can encourage the people about the community development work.

You can also encourage the people about social action to highlight the causes of various problems affecting the community and hinder the way of progress and development.
